Frequently asked questions

Getting in, booking, and what is in the suite.

Getting in

How do I get in?

Open The Node app or thenodewc.com and tap Unlock during your booking, between 7 AM and 9 PM ET. No app install or emailed pass is required. Entry through the building's street door, elevator, and other common areas follows the building owner's procedure and is not controlled by The Node. If that procedure or your credential is unclear, contact support before traveling.

What are the staffed hours, and what if I need help at night?

Someone is at the space Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM ET. Support is a different thing and never closes: 1-877-877-2508 and support@hts.pro are answered 24 hours a day, every day by the HTS operations centre. During the 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM ET access window, support can help if the Unlock button doesn't work for you.

Booking and payment

Can I bring a guest?

Guests of members must be booked like any other visitor — everyone in the suite holds their own credential, because access is logged per person.

What is my legal relationship with the space?

You are a licensee, not a tenant. Your membership is a licence to use the space, which HTS can end per the agreement — it is not a lease and creates no tenancy.

Can I book the conference room?

Yes. It seats 8, has a display for presentations and calls, and books online by the hour or for the whole day, 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM ET. Hourly bookings start on any half hour in that window, with a 1-hour minimum. Rates are on the pricing page.

Can I cancel?

More than 24 hours before your booking starts you are refunded in full; inside 24 hours, half. After the booking has started it can no longer be cancelled. If HTS cancels for any reason, you are always refunded in full.

The space

Where do I park?

Street parking and the borough garages on Gay Street and Chestnut Street are all within a few minutes on foot. Parking is not included with a booking.

Can I get here without a car?

Yes. SEPTA buses 92, 104 and 135 serve the West Chester Transportation Center on Market Street, one block from Gay Street. There is no Regional Rail station in the borough — the nearest is Exton, about eight miles out.

Is there wifi for guests?

Yes — a guest network on its own segmented VLAN. Meraki emails your guest-network login when your booking confirms; it expires when your booking ends, just like your Unlock button.

Are there cameras?

Yes. The suite is covered by security cameras and access logging, and occupancy is verified. There is no expectation of privacy in common areas — see the privacy notice for what is recorded and how long it is kept.
